Ready to stop sounding like a robot? When AI first burst onto the scene, we…

Your Expertise Isn’t the Problem. Your Visibility Is.
Everyone’s bracing to be replaced by a machine. But when something really matters, you still call a human. So does the person who needs you.
Think about the last time you were genuinely stuck on something that mattered.
Not a quick question. A real one. The kind with money, or your reputation, or someone’s trust riding on the answer.
Did you open a chat window and type it in? Maybe. But I’d bet that’s not where you stopped.
You called someone. You texted the one person who’d already been through it. You booked the half hour with the mentor who always sees the thing you can’t. You went looking for a human who had the scars.
Because you already know something, even if no one’s said it out loud this year. When the stakes are real, you don’t want the average of everything ever written on the internet. You want the person who has actually done it.
So here’s the harder question.
If that’s true for you, why would it be any less true for the people who need what you do?
Everywhere you look, the message is the same. AI is coming. Jobs are disappearing.
And some of that is real. I’m not going to pretend it isn’t. Challenger, Gray & Christmas, the firm that has tracked U.S. layoffs for decades, reported that AI was named the primary reason for nearly 40% of the job cuts announced this past May. In January it was 7%. That’s not nothing.
But notice what that number actually measures. It measures what companies are willing to say out loud. It does not measure your worth.
Because here’s the quiet fact underneath the noise. You don’t hand a machine the things that matter most. Neither does your ideal client.
Which means your value was never the problem. Your visibility is.
Think about what you actually carry. The framework you built because nothing off the shelf fit. The client you talked back from the edge of a bad decision. The judgment you earned by being wrong, fixing it, and remembering. None of that lives in a dataset. It lives in you. The only open question is whether the people who need it can find it.
The jobs that disappear were never the real measure of you. Being known for what you carry, that is the work of your next chapter. Quiet doesn’t mean invisible.
What’s one problem you’ve quietly solved a hundred times that the people who need you have never once heard you say out loud?
Cheers,
Leanne
